Melissa Behan

Vet Nurse

Melissa completed her certificate IV of Vet Nursing in 2016 but has had just under 6 years of experience of being a vet nurse. Melissa joined the team in 2011 and has loved every bit of it. Melissa loves the client interaction and has a keen interest in surgery, anaesthesia & critical care. She loves animals and has six cats at home as well as a bunch of chooks and 2 ferrets.
When not at work, Melissa enjoys an active lifestyle, spending time with her family, camping and overall being outdoors.

Jeanie Rainbow

Vet Nurse

Jeanie Rainbow is a qualified and highly skilled veterinary nurse. She has over 10 years of experience in senior nursing and practice management positions, and is dedicated to providing the highest standard of care for all her patients.

In her spare time Jeanie enjoys attending music festivals and hosting gourmet dinner parties. Jeanie’s pride and joy are her two Chihuahuas, Malcolm and Cricket.

Cassie Middleditch

Vet Nurse

Cassie Middleditch has always enjoyed the buzz of the Richmond area, and has been with Richmond Veterinary clinic for nearly 23 years. She has a special interest in nutrition, for both animals and humans! Cassie enjoys baking and hunter gathering in the garden. She has no pets at present, but encourages the local possums, lizards and birds to enjoy her large garden.

Sam Plose

Vet Nurse

Sam joined our team only two years ago and is currently studying to become a qualified vet nurse. Sam has a huge passion for all animals large and small. Sam lives in the Yarra Valley on a large farm with her two goats named Luna and Robbo, Sam also has three horses named Spedly, Chicago and Parker who she spends a lot of time with and competes at competition’s most weekends. Sam also has a very cheeky jack Russell named Penny.

Tessa Schwindt

Vet Nurse

Tessa has just joined the team in 2017 and is looking forward to learning as much as possible about animal health and becoming a certified vet nurse. Tessa enjoys talking to people about their animals and in particular looks forward to learning more about surgery, anesthetics and nutrition. She lives with two unlawful cats and cares for a tropical fish tank filled with unlawful fish.

In her spare time Tessa enjoys reading fiction novels, visiting the family farm in Kinglake and socializing with friends.
