Receptionist
Cassie Middleditch has always enjoyed the buzz of the Richmond area, and has been with Richmond Veterinary Clinic for nearly 23 years. She has a special interest in nutrition, for both animals and humans. Cassie enjoys baking and harvesting homegrown produce in the garden. She has no pets at present, but encourages the local possums, lizards and birds to enjoy her large garden.
Vet Nurse
Emma has been a member of the team since late 2017. She is a qualified vet nurse, having completed her Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing at Box Hill Institute. Emma is a Richmond local and loves meeting clients outside of work on walks and in the parks and cafes (and pubs!) of Richmond. Emma has a special affinity with scent hounds -her recently departed Petit Basset Griffon Vendeen (or PBGV), Marcel, loved nothing more than ‘hounding out’ over all the smells after a game at the MCG and had a reputation for attracting grass seeds wherever he went!
Vet Nurse
Amy joined our team in 2018 after completing a Bachelor of Animal and Veterinary Bioscience at La Trobe University. She is currently studying her Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing. At home, she has a husky named Zoey and a corgi named Zanna. Zoey is very independent while Zanna loves to stick close! In her spare time, Amy loves training Muay Thai and playing tennis.
Vet Nurse
Born and raised in Malaysia, Cass joined the team in 2019 as a vet nurse and receptionist. Cass has 11 years of experience as a dog groomer and has completed Certificate 2 in Animal Studies. She is currently studying Certificate 4 in vet nursing with AIRC. Cass lives with two budgies – Cloud McMuffin and Toshiro Hitsugaya – and a cockatiel named Peabody Bolognese in Melbourne. She regularly FaceTimes her Golden Retriever, Bay, back in Malaysia. She enjoys spending her free time watching and discovering new animés and loves a good CrossFit workout.

Receptionist (and vet in training!)
Alex joined the team at Richmond Vet in 2023 as a receptionist, impressing us with her work ethic and knowledge. We were a little disappointed when she needed to reduce her hours to return to study – as a veterinarian – but we’re hoping once she qualifies she’ll join our team of vets!
Receptionist
Bree joined the team in 2024, adapting her established receptionist skills to the veterinary industry.

Rhiannon has just begun her training as a veterinary nurse and is proving to be a natural, picking up new skills and knowledge with ease.
